ACT-ONE Yamaichi Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company'') recognizes the importance of protecting personal information, and complies with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as the "Personal Information Protection Act''). We will strive to handle and protect your personal information appropriately in accordance with the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Privacy Policy"). Unless otherwise specified in this Privacy Policy, the definitions of terms in this Privacy Policy are in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act.

- In this Privacy Policy, "personal information" refers to personal information as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
- Article 2: Purpose of Use of Personal Information

- To confirm, investigate, and respond to inquiries regarding the Company and the services we provide

- The Company will not handle personal information outside of the scope necessary for achieving the purpose of use without obtaining the consent of the individual, except in cases permitted by the Personal Information Protection Act and other laws. Usage is outlined, but not limited to, the cases below.

- When it is necessary for the protection of a person's life or property, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
- When it is particularly necessary for the improvement of public health or the promotion of healthy child development, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual
- When it is necessary to cooperate with a national or local organization, or a consignee commissioned by said organizations to carry out duties prescribed by the law, and obtaining the individual's consent would likely interfere with the performance of said duties
- Article 4: Safe Management of Personal Information
- To manage personal information securely against risks such as loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage, the Company will supervise our employees in a necessary and appropriate manner. When the Company outsources the handling of personal information in whole or in part, we will supervise the consignee’s secure management of personal information in a necessary and appropriate manner.
- Article 5: Provision to Third Parties
- The Company will not provide third parties with personal information without consent from the individual, except in the cases listed in Article 3. However, the cases below do not apply to said third party provisions above.
- When personal information is provided in part or in whole to a consignee within the necessary scope of the purpose of use
- When personal information is provided in connection with business succession due to a merge or for other reasons
- Article 6: Disclosure of Personal Information
- The Company will not provide third parties with personal information without consent from the individual, except in the cases listed in Article 3. However, the cases below do not apply to said third party provisions above.
- When personal information is provided in part or in whole to a consignee within the necessary scope of the purpose of use
- When personal information is provided in connection with business succession due to a merge or for other reasons
