ACT-ONE Yamaichi's ESG Policy

At ACT-ONE Yamaichi, we endeavor to protect the environment and contribute to society by providing a variety of customers with equipment we clean and maintain in-house over the long term. We are constantly striving to improve our corporate governance to fulfill this role.

Environmental Initiatives

Our Products

We are raising awareness among customers to encourage the use of environmentally friendly products, such as longer-lasting LED lights that consume less electricity and lightweight scaffolding to reduce emissions during transportation. Our time is also being spent on developing new products and recycling methods.

  • Publication of environmentally friendly product catalog
  • Improving waste recycling at equipment centers

In-House Initiatives

We are digitizing documents to reduce the amount of paper used and printed. We also proactively implement environmentally friendly equipment and fixtures such as LED lighting, electric forklifts, and hybrid cars.

  • Use of electronic invoices and acceptance inspection photos
  • Use of LED lighting
  • Switching to all-electric forklifts
  • Switching all company cars to hybrids (excluding one emergency vehicle)

Other Initiatives

The company is based in the Kawasaki Zero-Emission Industrial Complex, a leading model facility for the eco-town concept being promoted by Kawasaki City, and contributes to its operation in cooperation with other companies.

Social Initiatives

Our Products

In the construction industry, where there’s a serious labor shortage, we provide beginner-friendly equipment and products that improve work efficiency to help solve problems.

  • Providing safe products
  • Providing remote virtual systems and other products that promote DX

In-House Initiatives

We have implemented a variety of initiatives to create a workplace comfortable for everyone.

  • Appointment of female managers
  • Increasing amount of men taking childcare leave (currently 56% *National average is 15%)
  • Workplace improvement program
  • Incentives for not smoking
  • Hourly paid time off
  • New remote work regulations

Other Initiatives

We sponsor events such as marathons that contribute to improving local residents' health, providing free equipment, and assisting in assembly and disassembly.

Governance Initiatives

In-House Systems

We have put in place systems to ensure fair and sound management.

  • Executive officer system
  • Strengthening compliance
  • Accounting audit pursuant to the Companies Act (voluntary audit)
  • Internal hotline (for General Affairs and HR supervisors)

Other Activities

We have a BCP (Business Continuity Plan) in place to ensure business continuity even in the face of disasters and emergencies.
