Supporting disaster-stricken areas as ready reserve Self-Defense Force members - Contributing to recovery efforts in the Noto Peninsula earthquake of 2024 [ESG]

We received a letter of appreciation from the Ministry of Defense Nara Regional Cooperation Headquarters.
At the end of last year, the Ministry of Defense's Nara Regional Cooperation Headquarters presented us with a letter of appreciation in recognition of the support activities of our employees as Ready Reserve Self-Defense Force members in the disaster-stricken areas during the recovery efforts following the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake. The letter also recognized our company's employment of Ready Reserve Self-Defense Force members and our contributions to carrying out their duties.
Supporting earthquake recovery efforts as a ready reserve SDF officer
The Noto Peninsula earthquake that occurred on January 1, 2024 caused widespread damage.
After the earthquake, one of our employees, who is a Self-Defense Force Ready Reserve Officer, was called up to help with life support activities for the recovery of the affected areas.
In the affected areas, we played a part in the recovery effort, mainly by transporting supplies, and worked to help support the local community and the lives of its people in the difficult aftermath of the earthquake.
In addition to simply delivering supplies, we were also asked to speak to the residents and show support together.

Aiming to be a company that advances hand in hand with society
We don't know when a disaster like the recent earthquake will strike, but we believe that daily preparation and support are an important role of a company as a member of society.
We will continue to value our connections with the local community and society, and strive to create an environment in which each and every employee can contribute to society.
